Cover of a song by Spoon, from their album Kill The Moonlight, and featured on the Stranger Than Fiction soundtrack. I first heard this on the movie soundtrack, and was reminded of it during the early months of the pandemic shutdown. As with many songs I love, I'd heard it many times but never tried to replicate it on guitar, and was pleasantly surprised when it was easily learned. From there, I took up a friend on an offer to track background vocals, played with space and reverb on the uke, and brought instruments along on work trips to record in my off-duty hours. I love the mood that Britt Daniel created and how much meditative space it allows.
